  I primarily only use LA to swim laps almost daily, and I've overall had good experiences. The locker room is always clean, showers mostly (sometimes questionable), and the pool is about average cleanliness for its size and how much it gets used. The hot tub is often in a questionable state of cleanliness with dirt floating around.
  
  Despite the drawbacks I've mentioned, I would recommend LA, at least for swimmers.
