  Nice course – particularly the challenging greens. BUT I WOULD NOT RECOOMEND PLAYING THE COURSE UNLESS YOU HAVE LESS THAN A 20 HANDICAP. We were harassed by the rangers and the pro shop because we took too long to play the third hole – one player hit in the trees, another duffed a second shot and another hit in two bunkers. That started the pressure from the ranger to speed up. A couple of holes later, the ranger said we were two minutes behind – two minutes – are you kidding me? Then as we got to the 8th tee someone from the pro shop was waiting for us and said, “We are monitoring you the rest of the day.” Monitoring us? Like more pressure. To put that comment in perspective, the group ahead of us had just left the green on the par three as we got to the 8th tee – how fast did they expect us to play? Completely ridiculous and unnecessary pressure! Who can enjoy golf with that pressure? We got to the 10th tee at exactly 2 hours. The group ahead of us had just left the tee, so we had to wait to tee off. The ranger was there too. He said that the group in front of us had to take a piss and were behind time. Really? Behind time because the golfers had to piss? The ranger seemed to stalk us on the back nine, but not as badly as the ranger on the front side. WE FINISHED 18 HOLES IN FOUR HOURS!!! The scores were bad, because of the unnecessary pressure - it was not a fun day. So, unless you always hit a straight drive down the fairway and don’t go in the woods or don’t look for a lost ball, or don’t duff your shots or don’t three putt any greens or don’t take more than one perfect shot to get out of a bunker, DON’T PLAY VALENCIA BECAUSE THE PRESSURE TO SPEED UP WILL DESTROY YOUR GAME AND YOUR DAY. Bottom line – unless you have a handicap of less than 20, play somewhere else.

  Excellent public course (compare to rest of the public courses around Naples Florida or Collier Co.) offer five different tees from 4786 ladies to 7145 yards from tips, carefully make a decision what yardage to play. Reason? Greens are fast and undulated, missing a green left or right most likely "bogey". For the visitors of Naples or Collier County this is the course to play. Golf course is located 10 miles East of I-75, great experience.
