  I have worked in education for 12 years in both public and private institutions. I have taught multiple curriculum, including both International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement. In that time I have seen a number of different school cultures, faculties, administrations, student bodies, etc. I am not going to compare those situations to the Village School, but I will say that the Village School:
  
  * Has a refreshingly honest and direct line of communication between the administration and faculty.
  
  * Exhibits a passion about creating an encompassing culture and community that fosters true innovation and intellectual growth.
  
  * Works to create a collaborative effort at all levels of the educational progress, from the administrative team, to the teachers, the parents and including the students in order to provide a truly unique experience. One that strives to reach the individual learner and foster their strengths as opposed to imposing some kind of rigid doctrinal or pedagogical approach to education.
  
  I cannot speak to the majority of the negative reviews I have seen posted here, except to say that it is telling to see the same key word being used repeatedly by each of them. If it is one person spamming negative reviews, that is just sad. Regardless, I would suggest you take time to see what the Village School has to offer if you are in search of a school for your child. Afford yourself the time it takes to learn more about a school when investing for your child's future.
